As an exercise in abstract thinking, "The House In The Woods" was conceived as a linear representation of the Mondrian Style in art. Each space, connected by a corridor and stairs, is at varying elevations. The result is a house that reads like sheet music. Bold colors dictate each space in the interior and exterior. It is meant to be a statement piece, creating contrast in an otherwise banal context.
