Grace Community Church is a project that focuses on promoting the well-being of the wider community. The design features a parabolic, thin-shell concrete roof that connects all the spaces with breezeways. The church's main congregation space is located centrally within the complex. It includes an administration space, a baptistry tower, a gymnasium, a school with healthcare facilities, group meeting rooms, and administrative and public libraries. Additionally, the back of the complex includes eleven residential spaces for families and individuals in need of temporary housing. The parabolic shape of the roof not only creates a column-free space but also provides a solution to slow the transmission of airborne viruses through Bernoulli's Principle. Wooden structures float within the parabolic concrete spaces, demarcating each function. The aim is to provide services at a micro level to support families in all aspects, from raising children to educating young adults. It will help to ease the transition from adolescence to early adulthood within a family structure.
