An audiophile company called SCHIIT produces some of the best high-end electronics equipment in the industry at an affordable price. The ASGARD is a high-performance solid-state headphone amplifier designed for desktop use. The prototype stand allows the headphone amplifier to sit upright to reduce its footprint. The prototype, made from pre-bent anodized aluminum, mimics the original aesthetics of the ASGARD. Rubber feet cushioning is attached to the headphone stand through a friction fitting. The SCHIIT logo is laser-cut from aluminum and designed as a negative space that lightens the stand. The goal is to create an integrated, sculptural base that complements the amplifier's design, giving the impression that it was always part of the original product design.
